MISSION STATEMENT: CHANGING LIVES, MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Hands Across Africa Inc an International 501(C3) Humanitarian Agency founded in 1994 in Chicago Illinois, has been dedicated to the alleviation of suffering by Women and Children in Africa who are victims of war, poverty, malnutrition ,disease, natural disasters,hunger,injustice,oppression/repression and famine .Hands Across Africa helps these Women and Children caught in the crossfire’s of conflict and crisis have access to the basic fundamental needs and rights of LIFE, i.e. Water Food,Shelter,Medical attention and basic primary education.
Our mission is to help give women and children in these crisis situations a chance to rebuild their shattered lives, to meet the critical needs of food, water, temporary shelter, primary education, clothing and dignity. We offer hope for the future to the children and their mothers who are the most vulnerable in times of conflict/crisis and the poorest of the poor amongst us.
Since inception in 1994 Hands Across Africa in partnership with WCCE,BBF and other donor organizations and individual contributors like you, We have delivered over $5.5million in medical supplies,books,clothing and food directly impacting over 150,000 men women and children in 4 African nations.
